iVoiceAfrica is a voiceover and translation company with large dreams and goals of providing inclusivity in every aspect of life for every African and especially non-English speakers.

It was this dream that led to the birth of iVoiceAfrica and even the vision of making iVoiceAfrica a global centre to help companies looking to expand into Africa reach their goals.

But how did this all start?

A Trip Down Memory Lane…

iVoiceAfrica started as a one-man dream with Tobi Oladipo.

In December 2018, I had quit my 9-5 job because I had better plans for 2019…I understudied several artists and was trained by one of the best producers in Lagos.

And on August 26, 2019, I knew the platform had been set for me…I launched my company and website which is an online representation of my brand.

From being a Master of Ceremonies to enrolling in courses on voiceovers, voice training and business, Tobi began recording for agencies and animation companies in Nigeria.

Having worked with the likes of Indomie, Ernest&Young, World Intellectual Property Organisation, JAMB and many others, he had a great portfolio and on the 26th of August 2019, iVoiceAfrica was birthed.

A year later, iVoiceAfrica could only boast of completing jobs in English, French and sometimes Yoruba language but it’s a different story this year.

What Has Changed?

What started as a one-man voiceover show has now gravitated to a company that has expanded from solely voiceovers to translations, interpretation and business outsourcing.

Over two years, iVoiceAfrica has grown from a one-man team to a group of dedicated individuals who work together to birth the goals and vision of the company.

We’ve been able to cut across several languages in the North, East, West and South of Africa in voiceovers, translations, interpretations, movie dubbings and a lot more.

We’ve dubbed over 60 movies in different African languages such as Lazarus, Infamous, Triggered, Legacy of Lies, Bay of Silence and many more.

From working locally and within the spheres of Nigeria, iVoiceAfrica has expanded internationally, working and partnering with several foreign clients.

As we aim to break language barriers for businesses and contribute to the socio-economic development of society, iVoiceAfrica partnered with Translators without Borders on the 27th of July 2021.

Translators without Borders is a non-profit organization established in 2010 that provides translation services for humanitarian non-profits.

Less than a month later, iVoiceAfrica announced a partnership with CushConsultingGroup based in Chicago, Illinois on the 24th of August 2021.

What Has Improved?

With increased clientele recommendations, iVoiceAfrica has received and completed hundreds of voiceovers, translations and interpretations of several African languages.

This in turn has helped increase our visibility and online presence across several social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Clubhouse.

Due to reliable and efficient staff and partners, keeping up with emails as well as jobs has been easier and our turnaround time has improved significantly.

We can attest that outside of audiobooks and very lengthy movie dubbings and voiceovers, you’re sure to get your job completed to perfection and delivered within 12-24 hours.

Plans For The Future

When future plans are spoken of, it always seems like it’s so far away and because of this people lose track of time and achieve nothing…

However, drawing up a 5-year or 10-year plan and setting markers is a great way to keep track and stay in check.

Two years down the line and iVoiceAfrica has a very simple plan – to keep going strong and better than before.

Our passion for language inclusivity worldwide and especially in Africa hasn’t changed and thus the vision for iVoiceAfrica remains to:

  • Create ease and break language barriers
  • Become a global centre
  • Help companies looking to expand into Africa
  • Cut through every African language

Just as we’ve grown and continue to grow, we can help you grow as well!

We’ve got a reliable and trustworthy team who want to bring your vision to life via voiceovers, translations and interpretations and even multilingual customer support.
